St. Landry Parish To Get Over A Million Dollars In Grant Money

More than a million dollars in grant money is going to St. Landry Parish to improve multiple buildings in preparation for future storms. The FEMA grant targets 26 facilities, including public schools, a nonprofit hospital, government buildings, and police and fire stations. The retrofitting will strengthen the structures to protect them from the effects of changes in air pressure and high winds.
