St. Landry Police Get Body Cameras

Deputies in St. Landry Parish will have a new tool to help them with their patrols thanks to the generosity of their narcotics division counterparts. Sheriff Bobby Guidroz says narcotics detectives donated nearly $3000 worth of personal body video cameras -- money earned while working off duty. Guidroz says the new cameras will record all law enforcement interaction, assisting with criminal and civil proceedings.
