St. Landry Sheriff’s Deputies Arrest 2 People On Drug & Gun Charges

39-year-old Jason Ray Sibley and 42-year-old Heather Stamant, both of Springfield, were busted on drug and gun charges while driving in St. Landry Parish late Tuesday night.

St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz says when deputies pulled over Sibley and Stamant they could smell marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. Detectives say they found about three pounds of the illegal drugs (worth about $30,000 in street value), 2 bottles of THC infused massage oil, 2 bottles of THC infused Bath Soak, 80 gm of THC infused “Gummy” candy, approximately 3 pounds of marijuana, and a Bersa .22 caliber firearm.

Both were arrested and their vehicle was impounded.
