St. Landry Sheriff’s Deputy Suffers Fatal Heart Attack

A heart attack has claimed the life of a St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Deputy Carlos Papillion.

According to our news partners at KATC, deputy Carlos Papillion passed away Tuesday morning at Opelousas General Hospital after suffering the heart attack while on duty.

Details on Papillion's funeral arrangements have not been set yet.
