Ronald W. Joseph, age 57, 1527 Hwy. 749, Opelousas, La, DWI 2nd offense, reckless operation of a vehicle, open container, suspended driver's license, 2 counts of possession of schedule II, failure to register vehicle, altered temporary tag, no auto insurance. Arrested by Louisiana State Police.

Cassi Rankin, 27, 207 Murial St, Bayou L'ourse LA, was arrested on December 21, 2016 at 12:36pm for theft of goods and a warrant for theft and forgery. A deputy assigned to patrol the Bayou Vista area responded to a complaint of a shoplifter at a local business. The deputy made contact with Rankin, and learned that she attempted to leave the business without paying for the $1337.24 worth of merchandise found in her possession. Rankin also had an active warrant from Morgan City Police Department on charges of theft and forgery . Rankin was arrested and transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Ricky Pillaro, 61, 810 First St, Morgan City LA, was arrested December 21, 2016 at 12:18pm on a warrant for failing to appear to court on charges of forgery and theft. A deputy patrolling the Amelia area located Pillaro at a business and learned of the warrant. Pillaro was arrested and transported to the parish jail for booking. Pillaro was later released after posting a $500 bail.

Kendall Norman, 17, 1221 Big Four Corners Rd, Jeanerette LA, was arrested on December 21, 2016 at 2:49pm for resisting an officer and a warrant for criminal trespassing and attempted vehicle burglary. Deputies patrolling Jeanerette responded to a complaint of a trespasser in the area. While attempting to locate the trespasser, deputies found Norman hiding in an abandoned vehicle. Norman fled from deputies on foot but was later located in a nearby field. Norman had a warrant for his arrest for charges of trespassing and attempted vehicle burglary. Norman was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Hadassah Tamar Morrison, 24, 10151 Curran Rd, Apt 28 New Orleans LA, was arrested on December 22, 2016 at 3:58am for speeding, driving under suspension and possession of marijuana. A deputy conducting traffic duties on Highway 90 in Bayou Vista, found a vehicle speeding 85mph in a 65mph zone. The deputy stopped the vehicle, made contact with the driver, Morrison, and learned that her license was suspended. A search of the vehicle ensued. The deputy located marijuana in the vehicle. Morrision was arrested and transported to the parish jail for booking. Morrison was released on a $3,250 bail amount.
