St. Martin Deputies Search For Robbery Suspects

The St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in identifying two male suspects who are believed to have robbed two Dollar General stores in the last week in their parish.

IMG_0442The first robbery happened September14 around 9 o'clock at night when two men wearing masks along with hoodies walked into the Dollar General off of Highway 31 in St. Martinville.  Both men were armed with handguns and robbed the store.

The second robbery happened last night, September 20 when two masked men wearing hoodies armed with handguns robbed the Dollar General off of Highway 31 near Ruth Bridge.

Detectives say after both robberies, the men fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.
