St. Martin Officer Arrested For Sneaking Marijuana Into Jail

A jail guard is accused of trying to sneak illegal drugs to inmates. Major Ginny Higgins with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office says they were suspicious one of their own officers was using the Breaux Bridge Substation to bring marijuana into the St. Martin Parish Correctional II Facility. Freddie J. Abraham the Third of Breaux Bridge was then caught and arrested. He was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center. His bond has been set at $30,000.00.
