St. Martin Parish Burglaries Being Investigated

Major Ginny Higgins of the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office says they have been investigating a rash of home burglaries. Most of these have happened during daylight hours.

Higgins urges St. Martin Parish residents to secure items that may be visible to someone driving by including ATV's, lawn mowers, weed eaters. If you will be leaving for an extended period of time it's suggested that you ask neighbors to report suspicious activity around you home. Higgins also said if you are away from home for an extended period of time such as for vacation that you wait to post pictures from your vacation until you are home.
