St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Investigators Arrest Shooting Suspect
The St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office has announced they have arrested a suspect in a July shooting on Hilda Street.
Deputies pulled up to the 1000 block of Hilda Street in St. Martinville on July 18 to find two people had been shot.
Major Ginny Higgins says the two male victims were sitting outside of a home, when two guys came up and started firing at them.
Investigators have arrested 23-year-old Darren Livings of Breaux Bridge in connection with the early morning shooting back in July.
Livings was booked on two counts of attempted first degree murder, and the judge has set his bond at $200,000.
Higgins says their investigation into the shooting, the circumstances surrounding the incident, and the search for a second suspect continue.
If you know anything about this case, you are asked to call the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office at 337-394-3071.
