St. Martin School Board Passes Concussion Amendments

Coaches in St. Martin Parish are now required to immediately remove any student-athletes who show signs of a concussion. This after the St. Martin Parish School Board voted it policies to match state law passed during this year's legislative session. The two laws adopted during the session require school districts to ensure all coaches and the parents of athletes are made aware of the risks of concussions and head injuries.
