St. Martin Sheriff’s Office Investigating Early Morning Shooting

St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office is currently investigating a shooting that occurred during the early morning hours in the outskirts of Breaux Bridge.

Sheriff's Spokesperson Ginny Higgins said the shooting occurred in the 1100 block of Hebert Ave., north of Breaux Bridge, at approximately 4:30 this morning.

Higgins said two people were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries in connection with the incident.

The shooting is still under investigation.
