St. Martin Traffic Stop Turns Up Drugs

Three people have been arrested after a traffic stop turned up drugs. Deputies in St. Martin Parish say they stopped a car on I-10 just before 2 o'clock this morning. A search of the car turned up more than 28-hundred grams of marijuana.

Charles Schippel, Anthony Rhone, and Frank Walker, all of Mississippi, have been booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on drug charges.

Police say the trio had rented the car and were traveling to Mississippi.
