The Kiwani's Club St. Martinville Christmas Parade will roll Sunday, and it's not too late to particpate.

According to George Choplin, who has headed up the parade for the last two decades, said it will start at 2 p.m. and will start at St. Martinville Senior High, head down Main Street, and end at Denier Street.

Quite possibly the best part?

"It's absolutely free to the public," Choplin said.

Choplin said there are three different float categories: club, business, and family. Plaques are given for the best decorated float, and ribbons are given for the second and third place finishers.
