St. Martinville Correctional Officer Arrested For Allegedly Bringing Cell Phones Into Jail

22-year-old Christopher Lee of St. Martinville is on the other side of a jail cell after accusations he brought cell phones into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center.

Lee hasn't been an employee with their office for long - only since January of 2015, according to PIO Major Ginny Higgins. Lee faces the following charges:

• LA R.S. 14:134-Malfeasance in Office
• LA R.S. 14:102-Contraband, Introduction into a Penal Institute

Lee now sits in the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on a $20,000.00 bond.
