St. Martinville Man Arrested On Several Drug Charges

35-year-old David Odu of St. Martinville has been arrested on several drug charges after narcotics agents recovered high grade marijuana and materials used to package and distribute the illegal drug at property located in the 400 block of West Berard Street in St. Martinville.

Odu faces the following charges:

• Possession with the intent to Distribute Schedule I CDS (Marijuana)
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
• Violation of Uniformed Controlled Dangerous Substance Law in a School Zone
• Illegal use of a CDS in the presence of a juvenile
• Active Arrest Warrant for Drug Court

Odu now sits in the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center. No bond has been set.
