St. Martinville Man Charged With Cruelty To A Juvenile

A St. Martinville man was arrested yesterday on charges of cruelty to a juvenile.

St. Martin Parish Sheriff's spokeswoman Ginny Higgins said 27-year-old Keithon Carter was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center following his arrest Friday.

Higgins said the Sheriff's Office received complaints against Carter regarding alleged physical abuse of a juvenile.

He was charged with one count of cruelty of a juvenile.

His bond was set at $25,000.
