St. Martinville Man Rejects Murder Deal

25 year old Joshua McKeel is accused of killing his girlfriend 19 year old Hannah Parker who was 7 months pregnant. St. Martin Parish Assistant District Attorney Chester Cedars said McKeel had agreed to plead guilty to manslaughter and first degree feticide but rejected the deal at the last minute. According to our news partner KATC McKeel will stand trial on charges of first degree murder and first degree feticide.

Allegedly McKeel shot Parker in the head and then turned the weapon on himself but witnesses talked him out of shooting himself.
