St. Martinville Parade Could Still Happen

Though St. Martinville officials decided to cancel the city's Mardi Gras parade, there's still a chance it could happen.

KATC reports that an inside source says both parties are still working on an agreement and that if one can't be reached by Monday, the case goes before a judge Monday afternoon.

The Newcomers Club hosts the annual parade and filed a federal lawsuit against the city and the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office over the parade's cancellation.
