St. Martinville Shooting Leads To Arrest

St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office investigators have arrested 28-year-old Casey Wiltz of St. Martinville after a shooting that happened Wednesday night around 10:30.

St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Spokeswoman Ginny Higgins reports the shooting happened in the 1100 block of Loreauville Highway.

Higgins says an argument happened earlier Wednesday and Wiltz stopped his car at the intersection and confronted 34-year-old Andre Narcisse and 31 Kelvis Narcisse.

Both Andre and Kelvis were shot allegedly by Wiltz.

Andre is listed in critical condition, and Kelvis was treated at the scene for non-life threatening injuries.

Wiltz turned himself in at the Sheriff's Office and was charged with two counts of attempted second degree murder.
