St. Martinville Woman Booked On Home Break-In Charges

ST. MARTINVILLE, La. (KPEL) -- A St. Martinville woman has been arrested in connection with the July 4 break-in of a home in the Cypress Island area.

Maj. Ginny Higgins with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office said 28-year-old Brandi Leblanc has been arrested and charged with unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling.

"Sheriff's deputies think Ms. Leblanc may also be responsible for other burglaries in the area," Higgins said.

Lenblanc has been booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on a $100,000 bond.
