St. Martinville Woman Dies In Crash

A woman is dead following an early morning crash. State Police say it happened at around five this morning, just south of Henderson. Troopers say Bryan Howe of St. Martinville was driving his SUV when he lost control. The vehicle spun around before crashing into a tree. Elizabeth Howe, also of St. Martinville, was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene. Bryan and his other passenger, Sally Thibodeaux of St. Martinville, were both wearing seatbelts and only suffered minor injuries.
