The following is a list of the people arrested by the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office for July 27, 2015:

Timothy Troung, 20, 160 Village Lane, Amelia, LA was additionally charged on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of hit and run driving and operating a vehicle without a license on July 24, 2015 at 8:57 am. After booking at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center, a jailer located the active warrant. No bail is set.

Carl A. Cage, 49, 121 Helen Drive, Franklin, LA was arrested on July 24, 2015 at 11:59 am for obstruction of a highway of commerce. A deputy responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in the roadway on Log Bayou Road in Centerville. The deputy observed Cage sleeping inside the vehicle. The deputy transported Cage to the parish jail. Cage was later released on a summons to appear in court on October 14, 2015.

James Bellard, 26, 748 Malipark Road, Lot 88, Lafayette, LA was arrested on July 24, 2015 at 1:25 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of disturbing the peace (offensive words). A deputy transported Bellard from the Lafayette Parish jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the warrant. Bellard was released on a $750 bond.

Angela Weber, 408 Saturn Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on July 24, 2015 at 7:44 pm on a Morgan City Court warrant for failure to appear on the charge of disturbing the peace (intoxicated). A deputy investigating a 911 hang up call made contact with Weber at the above listed address and located the active warrant for her arrest. Weber was transferred to the Morgan City jail.

Veronica Hawkins, 52, 214 Arizona Street #2, Morgan City, LA was arrested on July 25, 2015 at 8:24 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of direct contempt, following too close, and failure to honor written promise to appear. A deputy responding to a complaint made contact with Hawkins and learned that she had an active warrant for her arrest. The deputy transported her to the parish jail. Hawkins was released on a $319.50 bail.

Derrick Hayes, 40, 208 Federal Avenue, Morgan City, LA was arrested on July 26, 2015 at 12:25 am for 2 counts of unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling. Deputies responded to a report of a subject inside of a residence on Grace Street in Siracusa. Deputies located Hayes inside the home. Deputies observed Hayes to be sluggish and unresponsive to their questions. Acadian Ambulance was contacted and Hayes was transported Teche Regional Medical Center. During the course of the investigation, deputies learned that Hayes had entered another resident’s home earlier in the day. Following Hayes’ release from the hospital, he was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Joseph Perro, 25, 504 Park Avenue, Franklin, LA was arrested on July 26, 2015 at 4:30 am for possession of Schedule I and possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance.

Ricky Roberts, 34, unknown address, Franklin, LA was arrested on July 26, 2015 at 4:35 am for possession of Schedule I, possession of a firearm in the presence of a CDS, and possession of a firearm by a person convicted of certain felonies. A deputy observed the aftermath of a single vehicle crash that occurred in a yard of a residence on Highway 182 in Centerville. The deputy made contact with two of the occupants identified as Perro and Roberts. As the investigation progressed, the deputy located a loaded pistol inside the vehicle and a bag of marijuana on the ground outside the vehicle. Perro was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set. Roberts was transported to Franklin Foundation Hospital where he refused medical treatment. He was then transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Jeffrey Carlson, 39, 342 Easy Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on July 26, 2015 at 6:29 am for disturbing the peace (intoxicated) and simple assault. A deputy responded to a report of a disturbance on Main Street in Franklin. The deputy made contact with Carlson at his residence in Easy Street. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that Carlson and a female victim were engaged in an argument when he threatened the victim’s life. The deputy smelled the strong odor of alcohol on Carlson’s breath and person and also observed that Carlson was slurring words as he talked. Carlson was transported to the parish jail and was later released on a summons to appear in court on October 14, 2015.

Alvin Trosclair, 45, 4220 Dara Beth Road, Youngsville, LA was arrested on July 26, 2015 at 8:39 am for aggravated criminal damage to property, illegal use of weapons or dangerous instrumentalities, and possession of a firearm or carrying concealed weapon by a person convicted of certain felonies. Deputies responded to a report of possible gunfire at a residence on Simoneaux Lane in Charenton. Deputies made contact with Trosclair and learned that he was a guest at the residence. During the course of the investigation, Trosclair admitted that he had consumed illegal drugs before firing multiple shots from a shotgun and a small caliber rifle inside the home. Trosclair was transported to Franklin Foundation Hospital. Following his release from the medical facility, Trosclair was brought the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Kieran R. Beglau, 33, 113 Catherine Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on July 26, 2015 at 11:26 am for criminal trespass.

Kathryn Gotcher, 27, 3501 Old Spanish Trail, New Iberia, LA was arrested on July 26, 2015 at 11:33 am for criminal trespass.

Tanner Beglau, 27, 111 Catherine Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on July 26, 2015 at 11:33 am for criminal trespass. Deputies responding to a report of trespassing on Victoria Riverside Road in the Patterson area observed three subjects on a bridge. The subjects, identified as K. Beglau, Gotcher, and T. Beglau, were told to come to the top of the bridge to speak with deputies. K. Beglau became argumentative with deputies as they were assisting Gotcher and T. Beglau to a safe location. A deputy transported K. Beglau to the parish jail for booking. He was released on a $1,000 bond. After speaking with Gotcher and T. Beglau, a deputy released the subjects on a summons to appear in court on October 14, 2015.

Darryl Perry, II, 26, 303 David Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on July 26, 2015 at 6:48 pm for general speed law violation, no insurance, and switched license plate. A deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding on Canal Road. During the course of the traffic stop investigation, the deputy learned that Perry was driving without insurance and displayed a license plate on the vehicle that was not issued to that vehicle. A deputy transported Perry to the parish jail for booking. Perry was released on a summons to appear in court on October 14, 2015.

Robert Barrilleaux, 28, 430 Field Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on July 26, 2015 at 8:44 pm on a City of Patterson Court warrant for failure to appear on the charges of speeding and expired driver’s license. A deputy responded to a complaint of a disturbance on Field Road. The deputy made contact with Barrilleaux and located the active warrant for his arrest. Barrilleaux was transported to the parish jail for booking. He was later transferred to the Patterson jail.

Cherie C. Adams, 48, 153 Nini Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on July 26, 2015 at 10:35 pm for domestic abuse battery and disturbing the peace (intoxicated). A deputy responded to a complaint of a disturbance at a residence on Nini Road. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that Adams struck a male victim repeatedly in the face. The deputy smelled the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on Adams’ person. The deputy transported Adams to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Brian Weston, 26, 101 Lori Lane, Patterson, LA was arrested on July 27, 2015 at 1:56 am for possession of Schedule I (marijuana) and on a warrant for theft and unauthorized use of an access card. A deputy made contact with Weston near his residence and learned of the active warrant for his arrest. During a search of Weston’s person, the deputy located a small amount of marijuana. The warrant is the result of an investigation into a complaint of theft of a debit card. Weston is seen on video surveillance taking the card off of the counter at a business in Bayou Vista. Weston then used the card at several businesses in the area. A deputy transported Weston to the parish jail. No bail is set.
