The following is the list of the people who were arrested in the last 48 hours in St. Mary Parish:

Bradley Buteau, 56, 19397Highway 182 West, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on May 27, 2015 at 7:58 pm on a warrant for violation of the parish nuisance animals ordinance. The warrant stems from an animal complaint received in December. The deputy responding to the call observed three dogs on the complainant’s property aggressively barking at another dog that was secured behind a fence. The deputy learned that the three animals belonged to Buteau who was not at his residence at the time of the incident. The deputy obtained a warrant for his arrest. Another deputy made contact with Buteau during a traffic stop on Chitimacha Trail and located of the active warrant. Buteau was released on a summons to appear in court on August 19, 2015.

Terrance Felix Jr., 24, 809 E. Lafayette Street, Abbeville, LA was arrested on May 28, 2015 at 7:00 am for illegal possession of stolen things, resisting an officer, and possession of marijuana 2nd offense.

Dwayne P. Robertson, 22, 258 Jones Road #1, Four Corners, LA was arrested on May 28, 2051 at 7:00 am for illegal possession of stolen things.

Rahem D. Robertson, 21, 258 Jones Road #1, Four Corners, LA was arrested on May 28, 2015 at 7:00 am for illegal possession of stolen things.

John M. Savoy, Jr. 18, 1213 Clover Street, Abbeville, LA was arrested on May 28, 2015 at 7:00 am for illegal possession of stolen things.

A deputy assigned to patrol the Sorrell area observed a vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign on Highway 182 and Desonnier Road and conducted a traffic stop. While making contact with the 4 occupants, the deputy observed several items inside the vehicle that had been reported stolen from a Sorrel Lane residence earlier that morning. The deputy detained three of the occupants pending further investigation. They were identified as D. Robertson, R. Robertson, and Savoy. The fourth subject fled from the deputy into a wooded area nearby. A short time later, a deputy apprehended the subject who was identified as Felix. During a search of his person, a deputy located a bag of marijuana. During the course of the investigation, detectives located other items that were stolen from the residence in a park in Sorrell. All four subjects were transported to the parish jail. No bail is set.

Lisa Landry, 50, 428 Chitimacha Trail Apt. 111, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on May 28, 2015 at 10:55 am for violation of protective orders. A deputy responded to a report of a violation of a protective order at a residence in the Jeanerette area. While speaking with the complainant, the deputy observed Landry drive to the residence. The action was in direct violation of a protective order that had been issued to Landry. The deputy transported Landry to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Jules Anderson, Sr., 56, 707 Iberia Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on May 28, 2015 at 9:41 am on a warrant for (attempted) indecent behavior with a juvenile. The warrant stems from an investigation that began when a deputy observed a suspicious vehicle parked in a sugarcane field on Highway 87 in the Franklin area during the evening hours on May 15, 2015. The deputy made contact with two occupants in the vehicle who were identified as Anderson and a 16 year old juvenile male. During the course of the investigation, the deputy and a detective assigned to the case learned that Anderson convinced the juvenile to go with him to the location with the intention of engaging in sexual acts. The detective obtained a warrant for his arrest. A deputy assigned to the Warrants Division located Anderson at his residence and transported him to the parish jail for booking. Anderson was released after posting a $15,000 bond.

Adam W. Roy, 28, 701 Onstead Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on May 28, 2015 at 11:18 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of cocaine. Roy turned himself in at the Morgan City Police Department. A deputy transported Roy to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Paula Williams, 44, 706 Ash Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on May 28, 2015 at 11:25 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of theft. Williams turned herself in at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Franklin. A deputy transported her to the parish jail for booking. Williams was later released on a $3,000 bond.

Lacasha Hartman, 32, 316 Ellis Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on May 28, 2015 at 8:07 pm for theft. A deputy responded to a report of a theft that occurred in the Patterson area. During the course of the investigation, the deputy gathered evidence indicating that Hartman took over one thousand dollars in cash from a victim’s purse. Hartman and the victim knew each other. Hartman was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
