The following is the report for the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office:

Curtis Gaudet, Jr., 21, 221 Lake Palourde Road, Amelia, LA was arrested on June 3, 2015 at 8:22 am on a warrant for domestic abuse battery and criminal damage to property. The warrant stems from an investigation into a disturbance that occurred at a residence in Amelia in which Gaudet punched and pushed a female victim during an argument. Gaudet also broke some items in the residence during the battery. A deputy assigned to patrol the Amelia area knew Gaudet was wanted on the active warrant and observed him in the passenger seat of a vehicle travelling on Lake Palourde Road. The deputy stopped the vehicle, made contact with Gaudet, and transported him to the parish jail for booking. Gaudet was released after posting a $2,750 bond.

 

Wesley A. Rink, 20, and Judith Bowen, 26, both of 108 Bayou Boeuf Road, Amelia, LA were arrested on June 3, 2015 at 10:37 am for possession of drug paraphernalia. A deputy responded to a request to remove subjects from a hotel in Amelia. The deputy made contact with the subjects, identified as Rink and Bowen. While speaking with them, the deputy received consent to search the room and located two pieces of cut straws used for inhaling illegal drugs. Both subjects were released on summonses to appear in court on September 16, 2015.

 

Alex “Wilfredo” Hernandez, 33, Amelia, LA was additionally charged on a warrant for failure to appear for the offenses of disturbing the peace and possession of an open alcoholic container in a motor vehicle. Hernandez was already incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. Bail is set at $5,750.
