Patrick Augman, 41, 1308 Ninth Street, Apt. 67, Patterson, LA was arrested on June 17, 2015 at 8:33 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of illegal possession of stolen things and on a warrant for theft of goods. A deputy located Augman at his residence on the warrants. The warrant for theft of goods was obtained following an investigation into a complaint of shoplifting at a store in Bayou Vista. The deputy learned from store personnel that Augman was seen on June 14, 2015 on video surveillance leaving the store with stolen merchandise. Augman was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Adolph A. Davis, 25, 115 Ivory Lane, Charenton, LA was arrested on June 7, 2015 at 11:12 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of general speed law violation and operating a vehicle while license suspended/revoked/canceled. A deputy investigating a crash on Ivory Lane made contact with Davis and located the active warrant for his arrest. The deputy transported Davis to the parish jail for booking. Davis was released after posting $5,000 bond.

Jerome Rudolph, Jr., 22, 1805 N. Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on June 17, 2015 at 2:03 pm on a warrant for second degree battery. The warrant stems from an investigation into a report of a battery that occurred at a bar on Highway 182 in Bayou Vista in the early morning hours of April 5, 2015. The detective assigned to the case learned that a male victim was repeatedly punched in the face causing him to lose consciousness. The victim also sustained lacerations to his head and subsequently sought medical treatment at a local hospital. During the course of the investigation, the detective positively identified the subject who struck the victim as Rudolph and a warrant was obtained for his arrest. Rudolph was located at the Lafourche Parish jail and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the warrant. No bail is set.

Malcolm Colbert, 22, 6674 Highway 182, Centerville, LA was arrested on June 17, 2015 at 5:19 pm on a Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office warrant for failure to appear for arraignment. Deputies made contact with Colbert at his residence and located the active warrant for his arrest. A deputy transported Colbert to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Rachel Beranek, 30, 211 Highway 182, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on June 17, 2015 at 8:15 pm for simple battery.

James L. Beranek, 29, 211 Highway 182, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on June 17, 2015 at 8:19 pm for simple battery.

Dean Beranek, 29, 117 Burchfield Lane, Berwick, LA was arrested on June 17, 2015 at 8:36 pm for simple battery. A deputy responded to a complaint of a battery that occurred at a residence in Bayou Vista. During the course of the investigation, the deputy determined that Dean Beranek struck his brother, James Beranek, on the face during a verbal altercation. As the two became engaged in a physical encounter, Rachel Beranek, James’ wife, pushed Dean Beranek. Rachel Beranek was released on a summons to appear in court on September 16, 2015. James and Dean Beranek were transported to the parish jail for booking. James Beranek was released on a $50 bond. Dean Beranek’s bail is set at $500.

Douglas Henely, 49, 7212 Highway 90 Apt. 8 Morgan City, LA was arrested on June 17, 2015 at 7:26 pm for possession of crack cocaine and violation of a controlled dangerous substance law (drug free zone). Detectives with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division patrolling the Morgan City area made contact with Henely on Fifth Street. While speaking with Henely, detectives received consent to search and located crack cocaine on his person. The illegal drug was found within two thousand feet of a nearby church. Henely was transported to the parish jail for booking. He was released after posting $1,500 bond.
