St. Mary Parish Authorities Search For Shooting Suspect

In the early morning hours of Wednesday, June 3rd the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office received a report of possible gunfire in Siracusaville. While investigating deputies found evidence of a shooting on James Street and later learned a 37 year old Shriever man was being treated for gunshot wounds at a hospital in a neighboring parish. The victim is listed in stable condition and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office at 985-384-1622.
