St. Mary Parish Deputies Arrest Man For Failing To Register As A Sex Offender

St. Mary Parish Office officials have arrested a Franklin man for failing to register as a sex offender and failure to notify the public as is required by law.

21-year-old Kentroy Lewis of 1009 Iberia Street in Franklin turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office after learning there was a warrant out for his arrested.

In April of this year, Lewis was convicted of carnal knowledge of a juvenile.

Lewis was taken to the parish jail and booked on the charge.
