St. Mary Parish Man Arrested For Hit And Run

A St. Mary Parish Sheriff's deputy responded to a call about a hit and run on highway 182, and the deputy says the victim claims a man driving a truck hit is car, but then he took off.

The deputy says the victim managed to copy down the license plate number of the truck involved.  With he help of the Morgan City Police Department, the deputy was able to locate two men in that truck.  They fled, but were then apprehended a short time later.

The suspects, Sterling Babin and Darrel Robledo, were identified as the men involved in the hit and run.  Both were then sent the St. Mary Parish Jail for processing on hit and run charges.
