St. Mary Parish Man Arrested On Several Warrants

A St. Mary Parish deputy patrolling in Amelia saw a pickup truck on Lake Palourde Road that had an expired inspection sticker.

While making the traffic stop, the deputy found that 44-year-old Michael Howard had several warrants out for his arrest.

He was wanted for the following:

• Two warrants for issuing worthless checks
• Warrant for failure to appear on the charge of domestic abuse battery
• Two warrants for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family

The deputy also found that Howard was driving without his registration or insurance.
