The following is a list of people who were arrested in the last three days by the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office:

Harrison Bergeron, 22, 546 Riverview Drive, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on September 11, 2015 at 11:37 am on a warrant for sexual battery. A detective obtained the warrant after conducting an investigation into a complaint that Bergeron had sex with a female victim without her consent. Bergeron turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Franklin after learning of the warrant for his arrest. Bergeron was released after posting $5,000 bond.

Elithia Thomas, 33, 8801 Glenn Crest Road, Houston, TX was arrested on September 11, 2015 at 11:42 am on 2 warrants for failure to appear on the charges of issuing worthless checks. A deputy transported Thomas from the Lafayette Parish jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the warrants. She was released on $4,000 bond.

Dallas Hodge, 51, 233 Vivian Street, Bayou L’Ourse, LA was arrested on September 11, 2015 at 11:50 am on 2 warrants for issuing worthless checks. Hodge turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Morgan City. He was released on a summons to appear in court on December 7, 2015.

Juvenile female, 15, Patterson, LA was arrested on September 11, 2015 at 3:58 pm for disturbing the peace. A deputy responded to a complaint of a juvenile causing a disturbance in the gym at Patterson High School. The deputy learned that a student began yelling and cursing at a teacher in the school. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.

Glenn Rochel, Jr., 32, 135 Laura Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on September 11, 2015 at 3:08 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of simple assault and telephone harassment. Rochel turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Franklin. He was released on a recognizance bond.

Derwin Vining, 37, 2302 Federal Avenue, Morgan City, LA was arrested on September 12, 2015 at 1:20 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. A deputy received information regarding the whereabouts of Vining who had an active warrant for his arrest. The deputy located Vining at a business on Southeast Boulevard in Bayou Vista and transported him to the parish jail. Bail is set at $1,832.08.

Drew R. Baugher, 25, 122 Mill Road, Patterson, LA was arrested on September 12, 2015 at 5:45 pm on 3 warrants for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of drug court. Baugher turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. Bail is set at $300,000.

Juvenile male, 16, Four Corners, LA was arrested on September 12, 2015 at 7:47 pm for simple burglary. A deputy responded to the St. Mary District #11 Fire Station in Four Corners in reference to a complaint of a burglary. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that the juvenile entered the fire station, took several sodas, and left the building. The deputy located the juvenile who admitted to the deputy that he took the drinks. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.

Donald Cunningham, 70, 519 Arcemont Lane, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on September 12, 2015 at 7:09 pm for the following offenses:

  • Simple battery
  • Aggravated battery
  • Possession of marijuana
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia

A deputy responded to a complaint of a disturbance at a residence on Arcemont Lane. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that Cunningham pushed a female victim. Cunningham then retrieved a BB handgun and brandished it at a several subjects standing in the street. The deputy also located marijuana and items of drug paraphernalia inside the residence. The deputy transported Cunningham to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Adrian Hixon, 29, 774 Parish Road, Franklin, LA was arrested on September 12, 2015 at 11:50 pm for the following violations:

  • Driving while intoxicated
  • Driving under suspension
  • Open alcohol container in motor vehicles
  • Warrant for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle with a suspended license and speeding

A deputy responded to a report of a reckless driver who drove through the bushes of a business on Highway 90 in Bayou Vista. The deputy located the suspect vehicle and made contact with the driver identified as Hixon. The deputy observed the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on Hixon’s breath and person. The deputy also observed three open containers of liquor inside the vehicle Hixon was driving. After performing poorly on the field sobriety test, Hixon registered a 0.139g% blood alcohol concentration on a breath test. The deputy transported him to the parish jail. No bail is set.

Gonzalo Perez-Gonzalez, 32, 123 Garber Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on September 13, 2015 at 2:46 am for the following violations:

  • Driving while intoxicated
  • Open alcohol container in motor vehicles
  • No driver’s license
  • Careless operation

A deputy patrolling Amelia observed a vehicle in a ditch between Frontage Road and Highway 182 near the base of the Amelia bridge. The deputy saw a male subject standing near the vehicle and made contact with him. The deputy observed that the subject, identified as Gonzalez, smelled strongly of an alcoholic beverage. The deputy also observed an open container of beer inside the vehicle in the ditch. Gonzalez was unable to produce a valid driver’s license. During the course of the investigation, Gonzalez performed poorly on a field sobriety test. The deputy transported him to the parish jail. No bail is set.

Moses Marks, Jr., 55, 217 Kemper Road, Franklin, LA was arrested on September 13, 2015 at 3:43 pm for the following violations:

  • Speeding
  • Driving under suspension
  • Warrant for failure to appear on the charges of failure to use seatbelts, operating a vehicle without a driver’s license, and failure to honor written promise to appear

A deputy patrolling the Four Corners area observed a vehicle speeding on Big Four Corners Road and conducted a traffic stop. The deputy made contact with the driver identified as Marks and learned that he was driving with a suspended license and had an active warrant for his arrest. The deputy transported Moses to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $1,585.

John G. Deville, 49, 271 Grandwood Drive, Apt. 46, Patterson, LA was arrested on September 13, 2015 at 7:20 pm for the following offenses:

  • Improper lane usage
  • Possession of synthetic cannabinoids
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Abuse of toxic vapors

A deputy traveling Highway 182 in Morgan City observed a vehicle cross the fog line multiple times and conducted a traffic stop. The deputy made contact with the driver, identified as Deville. During the course of the traffic stop investigation, the deputy located synthetic drugs inside the vehicle. The deputy transported Deville to the parish jail for booking. Deville was later released on a $4,750 bond.

David Bonner, 48, 111 Cypress Lane, Patterson, LA was arrested on September 13, 2015 at 11:33 pm for simple battery. The deputy responded to a report of a battery at a residence in the Patterson area. During the course of the investigation the deputy learned that Bonner grabbed a female victim and pushed her causing her to fall to the floor. The deputy transported Bonner to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $500.
