St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Arrest Report

Brandon S. Jordan , 21, 117 Inez Drive, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on May 11, 2016 at 11:45 am on a warrant failure to appear on the charge of unauthorized use of an access card. A deputy received information from the Chitimacha Police Department regarding a subject who was wanted on a 16th Judicial District warrant. The deputy made contact with Jordan at the Chitimacha Police Department, located the active warrant, and transported him to the parish jail for booking. Jordan was released after posting a $1,500 bond.

Glenn Rochel, Jr. , 33, 535 Arcemont Lane Lot #7, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on May 11, 2016 at 12:54 pm for resisting an officer by force and on a warrant for violation of a protective order and simple assault.

Mindy Macaluso , 32, 535 Arcemont Lane Lot #7, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on May 11, 2016 at 12:54 pm on a warrant for violation of a protective order.

On May 7, 2016 a deputy began an investigation into a complaint of a possible battery. The deputy gathered evidence that Rochel and Macaluso went to a residence in the Patterson area and confronted a male subject. During a subsequent argument, Rochel verbally and physically threatened the victim with violence. The deputy viewed the victim’s protective orders against Rochel and Macaluso and determined that the pair had violated the court orders. The deputy obtained warrants for their arrests. Rochel and Macaluso were located at their residence. During Rochel’s arrest, he forcefully pulled away from the deputy in an attempt to free himself. Both subjects were transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Ashley Adams , 32, 10611 Highway 182, Franklin, LA was arrested on May 11, 2016 at 5:01 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of issuing worthless checks. A deputy located Adams at a business on Highway 87 in the Franklin area on the warrant. She was transported to the parish jail for booking. Adams was released on a $500 bond.

Ashly Gaskins , 28, 957 Lake Palourde Road, Amelia, LA was arrested on May 11, 2016 at 6:20 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of theft and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of direct contempt, improper lane usage, operating a vehicle without a driver’s license, and failure to honor written promise to appear. During a traffic stop on a vehicle on Highway 182 in Morgan City, a detective with the Narcotics Division made contact with Gaskins and located the active warrants for her arrest. Gaskins was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Ashlee Frederick , 25, 126 V’s Lane, Franklin, LA was arrested on May 11, 2016 at 10:12 pm for disturbing the peace (offensive language), simple assault, and remaining where forbidden.

Kennan Stelly , 17, 1401 Cayce Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on May 11, 2016 at 10:12 pm for simple battery and remaining where forbidden.

Deputies responded to a complaint of harassment at a residence in Centerville. Upon arrival, deputies observed a crowd of people on the street. While identifying those involved in the complaint, deputies observed a female subject yelling and cursing. The subject, identified as Frederick, was repeatedly advised to stop cursing but refused to do so. During the course of the investigation, deputies found evidence that Frederick and Stelly entered onto the victim’s property and verbally threatened the victim. Both subjects refused to leave after being told to do so by the victim. Also during the confrontation, Stelly pushed the victim. Both subjects were transported to the parish jail for booking. Frederick was released on a $1,250 bond. Stelly was released on a $1,000 bond.
