6 names appear on the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office arrest report. Deputies say they responded to 42 complaints over the last 24-hour reporting period.

Marvin Verret , 72, 312 Camille Drive, Patterson, LA was arrested on May 12, 2016 at 12:11 pm for criminal trespass. A detective with Marine Division responded to a complaint of trespassing on a house boat in Possum Bayou. The detective made contact with Verret and the owner of the home. During the course of the investigation, the detective found evidence that Verret entered onto the houseboat on two occasions without the owner’s permission. Verret was released on a summons to appear in court on August 29, 2016.

Charles J. Boudreaux , 51, 404 Sanders Street Apt. A, Franklin, LA was arrested on May 12, 2016 at 4:30 pm for reckless operation of a vehicle. A detective traveling on Highway 90 in the Centerville area observed a vehicle moving at a high rate of speed, weaving through traffic nearly striking two other vehicles. With the assistance of a patrol deputy, the detective conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver identified as Boudreaux. Following an investigation, Boudreaux was released on a summons to appear in court on August 29, 2016.

Chentelle Jackson , 22, 426 Victory Street, Thibodaux, LA was arrested on May 12, 2016 at 6:57 pm for improper lane usage, driving under suspension, and possession of marijuana. A deputy patrolling Highway 90 in Bayou Vista observed a vehicle cross over the fog line and onto the shoulder of the roadway. The deputy and the K-9 Unit, who was also observed the violation, conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as Jackson. While speaking with Jackson, she admitted to the deputy that she had marijuana on her person and handed over a cigar containing the illegal substance. The deputy also found that Jackson was driving with a license that was listed as suspended. Jackson was transported to the parish jail for booking. Jackson was later released on a summons to appear in court on August 29, 2016.

Shawn M. Verdin , 39, 528C Back Project Road, Schriever, LA was arrested on May 13, 2016 at 12:06 am for disturbing the peace (fighting) and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of stop sign violation and no driver’s license.

Sherry Liner , 34, 100 Cypress Village, Houma, LA was arrested on May 13, 2016 at 11:48 pm for disturbing the peace (fighting) and criminal damage to property.

A deputy investigating a report of a disturbance in Amelia found evidence that Verdin and Liner were arguing in a vehicle when a physical altercation broke out. During the fight, Liner broke the gear shift of the vehicle. The deputy also located an active warrant for Verdin’s arrest. Liner was released on a summons to appear in court on August 29, 2016. Verdin was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Devon Thomas , 22, 173 Easy Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on May 13, 2016 at 1:00 am for speeding and driving under suspension. A deputy working radar on Irish Bend Road in Franklin observed a vehicle speeding 38 miles per hour in a posted 25 miles per hour zone. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as Thomas. While speaking with the deputy, Thomas admitted that his driver’s license was suspended. Following the traffic stop investigation, Thomas was released on a summons to appear in court on August 29, 2016.
