Harold J. Mcnett, Jr. , 30, 5817 Old Spanish Trail East, New Iberia, LA was arrested on May 13, 2016 at 2:37 pm on the following warrants:
- Warrant for failure to appear on the charges of speeding, driving under suspension, and expired motor vehicle inspection
- Warrant for failure to appear on the charges of direct contempt, speeding, expired motor vehicle inspection, and illegal window tint
A correctional officer transported Mcnett from the Iberia Parish jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the warrants. Bail is set at $3,803.50.

Tormichael Provost , 35, 707 Myrtis Street, New Iberia, LA was arrested on May 13, 2016 at 2:38 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of speeding and no driver’s license. A correctional officer transported Provost from the Iberia Parish jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the warrants. Bail is set at $1,298.50.

Sheila Smith , 55, 1013 A Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on May 13, 2016 at 1:14 pm on a warrant for issuing worthless checks. Smith turned herself in at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Franklin. She was released on a summons to appear in court on August 29, 2016.

Michael W. Martin , 33, 3510 Second Street, Berwick, LA was arrested on May 13, 2016 at 1:15 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of issuing worthless checks. Martin turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on an administrative sanction. During booking, a correctional officer located the active warrant for his arrest. No bail is set.

Todd Girardeau , 54, 7811 Highway 14, New Iberia, LA was arrested on May 13, 2016 at 6:39 pm for improper backing (with a crash) and no insurance. A deputy was dispatched to a vehicle crash on Martin Luther King, Jr. Road in Charenton and made contact with Girardeau, the driver of one of the vehicles. During the crash investigation, the deputy learned that Girardeau backed into a vehicle while attempting to turn around. The deputy also found that Girardeau had no insurance on the vehicle he was driving. Girardeau was released on a summons to appear in court on August 29, 2016.

Chad M. Couvillier , 43, 1820 Iberia Street, New Iberia, LA was arrested on May 14, 2016 at 3:21 pm for criminal trespass, illegal possession of stolen things, and possession of (open) alcoholic beverages in motor vehicles. A detective with the Marine Division patrolling the levee system in Verdunville and Charenton observed a vehicle traveling over the top of the levee and conducted a vehicle stop. The detective made contact with the driver, Couvillier, and observed an open container of beer inside the pick-up truck. The detective also found that Couvillier had a license plate that was reported as stolen displayed on his vehicle. Couvillier was transported to the parish jail for booking. Couvillier was released on a $1,250 bond.

Jose M. Bibian , 29, 156 Lenny’s Lane, Amelia, LA was arrested on May 14, 2016 at 8:25 pm for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Luis Cerritos , 23, 187 Odile Street, Amelia, LA was arrested on May 14, 2016 at 8:25 pm for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Deputies investigating a complaint of loud music and the possible discharge of a firearm on Odile Street made contact with Bibian and Cerritos. Deputies received consent to search two vehicles parked in the area and located three light bulbs with drug residue inside. During the course of the investigation, Bibian and Cerritos admitted to deputies that they used the lightbulbs to smoke methamphetamine. Deputies found no evidence of a firearm or of a firearm being discharged. Both subjects were released on summonses to appear in court on August 29, 2016.

Brianna Stewart , 19, 416 Broussard Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on May 14, 2016 at 8:52 pm for disturbing the peace (fighting).

Kenya Ruffin , 22, 330 Leo Drive, Patterson, LA was arrested on May 14, 2016 at 8:52 pm for disturbing the peace (fighting).

A deputy was dispatched to a complaint of a fight at a business in Bayou Vista. The deputy collected statements indicating that Stewart and Ruffin were engaged in an argument that escalated into a physical fight. Both subjects were released on summonses to appear in court on August 29, 2016.

Brady P. Rodriguez , 24, 311 Onstead Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on May 14, 2016 at 11:25 pm on a warrant for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of probation. While assisting a Berwick police officer with a traffic stop near the foot of the Highway 182 bridge in Morgan City, a deputy made contact with Rodriguez and located the active warrant for his arrest. Rodriguez was transported to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $15,000.

John Sillmon, III , 29, 406 Millerville Drive, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on May 15, 2016 at 3:58 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of littering. A deputy received information from the Chitimacha Tribal Police Department that an officer had Sillmon, who was wanted on active warrant, in custody. The deputy transported Sillmon from the CTPD to the parish jail for booking. Sillmon was released on a $2,500 bond.

Johnny J. Bonin , 55, 1041 Cayce Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on May 15, 2016 at 7:00 pm for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and careless operation with a crash. A deputy responded to a single vehicle crash on Levee Road in Charenton and found that a vehicle crashed into a telephone pole. The deputy made contact with the driver, identified as Bonin, and smelled the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on Bonin’s person. Bonin admitted to the deputy that he had consumed alcoholic beverages prior to driving. Bonin later registered a 0.144g% on a breath test. Bonin was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Jeremy Smith , 33, 2400 Irish Bend Road, Franklin, LA was arrested on May 15, 2016 at 7:25 pm on a warrant for domestic abuse battery. The warrant was the result of a February 2015 investigation into a complaint of a battery. The deputy gathered evidence that Smith struck a female victim at a residence in Bayou Vista. Smith turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. Bail is set at $1,500.

Matthew Senette , 32, 9384 LA 182 Lot #1, Centerville, LA was arrested on May 15, 2015 at 7:46 pm for domestic abuse battery.

Samantha Pavlick , 23, 9384 LA 182 Lot #1, Centerville, LA was arrested on May 15, 2016 at 8:35 pm for domestic abuse battery.

A deputy investigating a complaint of a domestic battery collected evidence indicating that Senette and Pavlick were engaged in 2 physical altercations that occurred at 2 separate locations in the Centerville area. Both subjects were transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
