A correctional officer transported Willis to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center from the Lafayette Parish jail on the warrant. Bail is set at $27,405.

Caleb Decuir , 21, 14521 North Cherokee Drive Crowley, LA was arrested on May 23, 2016 at 2:53 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of marijuana. A correctional officer transported Decuir to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center from the Lafayette Parish jail on the warrant. No bail is set.

Juvenile male , 15, Berwick, LA was arrested on May 23, 2016 at 11:51 am for theft. A School Resource Officer received a complaint of a theft that occurred at the St. Mary Parish Alternative Program school in Verdunville. During the course of the investigation, the SRO found evidence that the juvenile male stole over $200 in cash from a teacher’s purse in a classroom. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings. The investigation is ongoing.

Ezekiel Anderson, IV , 24, 1036 Irish Bend Road Franklin, LA was arrested on May 23, 2016 at 5:45 pm on a warrant for 2 counts aggravated assault with a firearm. On May 17, 2016, a deputy responded to a location on Gumpoint Lane in Franklin after receiving a complaint of an assault with a weapon. The deputy collected evidence that Anderson and two subjects, a male and female, were arguing. As the argument escalated Anderson retrieved a handgun from his vehicle and threatened to shoot the male and female victims. The deputy obtained a warrant for Anderson’s arrest. Anderson turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Franklin and was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Steve P. Scallen , 28, 1503 US Highway 90 West Lot #6 Patterson, LA was arrested on May 23, 2016 at 8:31 m for 2 counts domestic abuse battery. A deputy received information from the Patterson Police Department regarding a complaint they received of a battery that occurred at a business on Highway 90 in the Patterson area. Patterson police officers located the subjects involved at another location in the Patterson area. With the officers’ assistance, a deputy collected evidence that Scallen struck two female victims who were arguing with each other. The deputy observed bruises on one of the victims as a result of the battery. Scallen was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Joseph P. Madise, Jr. , 18, 408 Saturn Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on May 24, 2016 at 12:11 am for criminal damage to property. A deputy investigating a complaint of possible property damage found that Madise damaged an interior door at a Bayou Vista residence where he was staying. Madise was transported to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $500.
