Juvenile Male , 16, Franklin, LA was arrested on May 24, 2016 at 1:32 pm for theft. On On May 16, 2016, a School Resource Officer received a complaint of a theft that occurred at the St. Mary Parish Alternative Program school in Verdunville. During the course of the investigation, the SRO found evidence that the juvenile male stole over $200 in cash from a teacher’s purse in a classroom. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings. This is the second arrest in this case.
