9 names appear on the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office arrest report. Deputies say they investigated 37 complaints over the last 24-hour reporting period.

Mark A. White , 33, 275 Easy Street Franklin, LA was arrested on June 1, 2016 at 11:10 am for the following offenses:
- Resisting an officer
- Criminal damage to property
- Warrant for failure to appear on the charges of contributing to the delinquency of juveniles and cruelty to animals
- Warrant for failure to appear on the charge of felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile
Deputies who knew White was wanted on active warrants observed him outside of his residence and attempted to make contact with him. A deputy encountered White on the back steps of the residence. White saw the deputy, ignored the deputy’s orders to come out of the residence, and fled back inside. Deputies then made contact with White at the front of the residence where he was taken into custody on the warrants. White repeatedly pulled away from the deputy while being escorted to the police unit. While being transported to the parish jail for booking, White kicked out a window of the patrol unit. No bail is set.

Brigg J. McDaniel , 38, 10119 Highway 13 Kaplan, LA was arrested on June 1, 2016 at 12:44 pm on the following warrants:
- Warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of (open) alcoholic beverages in motor vehicles, driving under suspension, careless operation, and no proof of insurance
- Warrant for failure to appear on the charge of driving under suspension and speeding
A deputy transported McDaniel from the Vermillion Parish Correctional Center to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the warrants. McDaniel was released on a $6,000 bond.

Jermaine Carmouche , 37, 1216 Fifth Street Patterson, LA was arrested on June 1, 2016 at 2:29 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal damage to property and simple battery. A deputy made contact with Carmouche at a location on Roderick Street in Morgan City on the warrant. Carmouche was released on a summons to appear in court on September 15, 2016.

Devin P. Guillot , 30, 542 Bayou Drive Pierre Part, LA was arrested on June 1, 2016 at 5:06 pm for theft of goods. A deputy responded to a complaint of shoplifting at a store in Bayou Vista. The deputy learned from store personnel that Guillot attempted to leave the store without paying for several items concealed on his person. Guillot was transported to the parish jail for booking. He was later released on a $1,000 bond.

Dave Sole , 47, 4845 Grand Caillou Road Houma, LA was arrested on June 1, 2016 at 11:09 am for hit and run driving. A deputy investigating a report of a hit and run crash that occurred in the parking lot of a business in Amelia collected evidence that a driver, identified as Sole, struck another vehicle and then left the scene. Sole was transported to the parish jail for booking. Sole was released on a $1,000 bond.

Dennis Norwood , 35, 555 Wheelis Lane Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on June 1, 2016 at 9:17 pm on a warrant for disturbing the peace. While responding to a separate complaint on Wheelis Lane, a deputy made contact with Norwood and located the active warrant for his arrest. The warrant was issued following an investigation into a complaint of a disturbance. The deputy collected evidence that Norwood went to a residence in Bayou Vista and began yelling outside of the home. Norwood was released on a summons to appear in court on September 15, 2016.

James Guerin, Jr. , 38, 5328 Highway 182 West Patterson, LA was arrested on June 2, 2016 at 12:27 am on 2 warrants for failure to appear on the charges of criminal neglect of family. During booking at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center, a correctional officer located the active warrants for Guerin’s arrest. Bond on the charges is set at $56,300.41.

Michael McKinnon , 23, 148 Mars Road Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on June 1, 2016 at 7:35 pm for the following offenses:
- Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
- Possession of cocaine
- Possession of Schedule IV (Xanax) with intent to distribute
- Possession of Schedule. IV (Valium) with intent to distribute
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Violation of a controlled dangerous substance law (drug free zone)
- Obstruction of justice
- Transactions involving drug proceeds

Emilie K. Businelle , 23, 300 Southeast Boulevard Apt. #4 Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on June 1, 2016 at 7:35 pm for the following offenses:
- Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
- Possession of cocaine
- Possession of Schedule IV (Xanax) with intent to distribute
- Possession of Schedule. IV (Valium) with intent to distribute
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Violation of a controlled dangerous substance law (drug free zone)
Detectives of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division with assistance from the Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Division conducted a search warrant at 300 Southeast Blvd. Apt. #4 in Bayou Vista. Detectives located McKinnon in the residence. When McKinnon saw the detectives, he attempted to discard a bag of marijuana. During the search of the residence, detectives located marijuana, Valium, Xanax, cocaine, pipes, scales, and $697.00 in cash (US currency). The apartment is located directly across from a park. Businelle, another resident of the apartment, was located by detectives at a business in Morgan City. Both subjects were transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
