10 names appear on the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office arrest report, which covers the latest 24-hour reporting period. 40 complaints were investigated, according to deputies.

Bernard Mitchell, 55, 209 Cedar Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on June 8, 2016 at 6:18 pm for driving under suspension. A deputy responded to a report of a vehicle in the ditch on off of US Highway 90 East Frontage Road in Centerville. The deputy made contact with the driver, identified as Mitchell, and found that he was operating the vehicle with a suspended license. Mitchell was released on a summons to appear in court on September 15, 2016.

August F. Tjon, 62, 846 Heart D Farm Road, Youngsville, LA was arrested on June 8, 2016 at 12:48 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of 3 counts of unauthorized use of a movable. A correctional officer transported Tjon from the Lafayette Parish jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the warrant. No bail is set.

Tyrusha R. Charles, 34, 1256 Martin Luther King Road, Charenton, LA was arrested on June 8, 2016 at 3:08 pm for domestic abuse battery.

James Roosevelt, Jr., 25, 1256 Martin Luther King Road, Charenton, LA was arrested on June 8, 2016 at 3:08 pm for domestic abuse battery.

A deputy responding to a report of a suspicious person on Martin Luther King Road in Charenton made contact with Charles and Roosevelt. The deputy observed blood and scratches on Charles and blood and bruises on Roosevelt. During the investigation, the deputy found evidence that Charles and Roosevelt injured each other during an argument at their residence. Both subjects were transported to the parish jail for booking. Both subjects were released after posting $3,500 bonds.

Jaquincy Mouton, 23, Franklin, LA was additionally charged with aggravated battery on June 8, 2016 at 2:47 pm.

Kevin Drexler, 33, New Iberia, LA was additionally charged with aggravated battery on June 8, 2016 at 2:47 pm.

Ezekiel Anderson, 24, Franklin, LA was additionally charged with aggravated battery on June 8, 2016 at 2:47 pm.

Delvin Darby, 23, Franklin, LA was additionally charged with aggravated battery on June 8, 2016 at 2:47 pm.

The St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center security team along with the Criminal Investigation Division conducted an investigation into a battery that occurred on June 3, 2016. Detectives collected evidence that inmates Mouton, Drexler, Anderson, and Darby repeatedly struck another inmate in the head and face during an argument. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment and was released from the medical facility. Mouton, Drexler, Anderson, and Darby remain incarcerated with no bond set.

Anthony Madison, 30, 611 Robert Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on June 8, 2016 at 10:56 pm for driving lamps required (no headlight) and driving under suspension. A deputy patrolling Amelia observed a vehicle traveling on Lake Palourde Road with only one working headlight and conducted a traffic stop. The deputy made contact with the driver, Madison, and learned that he was operating the vehicle with a suspended license. Madison was released on a summons to appear in court on September 15, 2016.

Joshua D. Dimaggio, 18, 1803 Rose Street Lot 2, Berwick, LA was arrested on June 8, 2016 at 7:30 pm for simple assault. A deputy responded to a complaint of a battery that occurred at a residence in Bayou Vista. During the investigation, the deputy collected evidence that Dimaggio verbally and physically threatened a male subject during an altercation between the two. Dimaggio was transported to the parish jail for booking and later released on a $250 bond.
