Justin Singleton , 18, 1008 Irish Bend Road, Franklin, LA was arrested on June 10, 2016 at 8:48 pm for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. Detectives and the K-9 unit of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Willow Street in Franklin. Detectives identified one of the passengers in the vehicle as Singleton. During a search of the vehicle, detectives located a plastic bag containing 24 bags of marijuana in the seat pocket where Singleton was sitting. Through the course of the investigation, detectives collected evidence that the marijuana was packaged with the intent of selling the illegal drug. Singleton was transported to the parish jail for booking. He was released on a $3,000 bond.

Kayla Davis , 27, 111 Moon Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on June 10, 2016 at 4:53 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of careless operation of a motor vehicle and operating a vehicle with no insurance. A deputy responding to a separate complaint at the residence on Moon Road came into contact with Davis and located an active warrant for arrest. Davis was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Pamela A. Garrison , 42, 324 Charlotte Drive, Patterson, LA was arrested on June 10, 2016 at 1:37 pm on a warrant for 2 counts of monetary instrument abuse. The warrant was issued following an investigation into two counterfeit checks that were cashed at a business in Bayou Vista in an amount totaling $4,150. Garrison turned herself in on the warrant at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Morgan City. She was transported to the parish jail for booking. Garrison was released on a $3,000 bond.

Dinah L. Boudreaux , 52, 8210 LA Highway 182, Franklin, LA was arrested on June 10, 2016 at 11:21 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of unlawful sales to persons under 21. A deputy investigating a vehicle crash on Highway 182 in Franklin made contact with a passenger in one of the vehicles identified as Boudreaux. The deputy located the active warrant for her arrest and transported her to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Joseph P. Miller , 20, 104 Edward Lane, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on June 10, 2016 at 11:59 pm for failure to yield to emergency vehicles. Deputies investigating a crash on US Highway 90 in Franklin observed a vehicle fail to move over into the far lane. The deputies observed the vehicle nearly strike a police unit that activated flashing lights at the crash scene. A deputy stopped the vehicle and made contact with the driver, identified as Miller. Following the traffic stop, Miller was released on a summons to appear in court on September 15, 2016.

Kimberly Ruiz , 31, 659 Utah Street, Berwick, LA was arrested on June 11, 2016 at 12:21 pm for violation of the parish vicious animals ordinance. A deputy investigating a complaint of a dog bite found evidence that it was Ruiz’s dog that bit a male victim who had been invited into the yard of a residence in Bayou Vista. Ruiz was released on a summons to appear on court on September 15, 2016.

Jeremy L. Smith , 33, 915 Martin Luther King Road, Baldwin, LA was arrested on June 12, 2016 at 1:17 am for speeding and driving under suspension. A deputy patrolling the Jeanerette area observed a vehicle traveling 52 miles per hour in a posted 35 miles per hour zone on St. Peter Street. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and identified the driver as Smith. While speaking with him, the deputy discovered that Smith was operating the vehicle with a suspended driver’s license. The deputy released Smith on a summons to appear in court on September 15, 2016
