10 names appear on the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office arrest report, which covers the latest 72-hour weekend reporting period.

Danny P. Dupuy, 37, 751 Julia Street, Amelia, LA was arrested on June 24, 2016 at 4:30 pm for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Narcotics detectives patrolling Amelia observed a male subject in a truck parked at the end of the road on Friendship Alley. Detectives made contact with the driver of the vehicle, identified as Dupuy. While speaking with him, detectives received consent to search his person and located a bag of marijuana in his shirt pocket and a pack of cigars inside the vehicle. Dupuy was released on a summons to appear in court on September 15, 2016.

Calvin Tabb, 53, 155 Edmond Lane, Charenton, LA was arrested on June 24, 2016 at 4:33 pm for improper lane usage, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. A narcotics detective patrolling Cypremort Point observed a truck cross over the center line on LA Highway 319 and conducted a traffic stop. The detective made contact with the driver, identified as Tabb. While speaking with him, Tabb admitted to having illegal drugs in the vehicle. The detective located multiple burnt marijuana cigarettes in the ashtray of the truck and a tin can containing marijuana and rolling papers beneath a seat in the vehicle. Following the investigation, Tabb was released on a summons to appear in court on September 15, 2016.

Jessie Engleton, Jr., 45, 1515 Nicole Road, New Iberia, LA was arrested on June 24, 2016 at 6:43 pm for the following offenses:
-Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
-Possession of drug paraphernalia
-Resisting an officer (by flight)
-Violation of a controlled dangerous substance law (drug free zone)
-Transactions involving drug proceeds
-Obstruction of justice
-Littering
-Possession of (open) alcoholic beverages in motor vehicles
Narcotics detectives patrolling Berwick observed a vehicle fail to signal a turn onto California Street and initiated a traffic stop. When the vehicle stopped, the driver, identified as Engleton, exited and threw an open container of beer to the ground. Detectives pursued Engleton on foot and observed him throw several bags of marijuana to the ground. Detectives apprehended Engleton and located plastic baggies on his person as well as $265 in cash. The bags of marijuana were recovered. During the investigation, which took place near a school, detectives found evidence that Engleton was selling the marijuana. Engleton was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Charles G. Sheehan, 54, 510 Carol Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on June 24, 2016 at 2:11 pm on a warrant for issuing worthless checks. A deputy located Sheehan at his residence on the warrant. Sheehan was released on a summons to appear in court on September 15, 2016.

Clayton Tardy, Jr., 54, 120 ½ Jolivette Street, Baldwin, LA was arrested on June 24, 2016 at 7:15 pm for disturbing the peace (obscene language). A deputy was dispatched to a disturbance at a business on Main Street in Baldwin. The deputy heard a male subject, identified as Tardy, yelling profane language. Tardy was transported to the parish jail for booking. He was later released on a summons to appear in court on September 15, 2016.

Kyle Deroche, 28, 171 N. Villa Oaks Drive, The Woodlands, TX was arrested on June 25, 2016 at 2:52 am for criminal damage to property. A deputy responded to a report of a disturbance in progress at a business on Highway 90 in Berwick. During the course of the investigation, the deputy found evidence that Deroche damaged a wall and a door at the business. Deroche was transported to the parish jail for booking. Deroche was released on a $250 bond.

Freddy Borne, 38, 400 Prairie Road North, Franklin, LA was arrested on June 25, 2016 at 9:38 am on a warrant from the City Court of Morgan City on the charge of theft. A deputy located Borne at his residence on the warrant. Borne was transported to the parish jail for booking and later transferred to the Morgan City Police Department jail.

Charles Walker, Sr., 54, 3380 Marias Street, Napoleonville, LA was arrested on June 26, 2016 at 12:43 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. Walker was transported from the Assumption Parish Sheriff's Office to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the warrant. Bail is set at $91,494.94.

Angel M. Delfi-Borrero, 36, 810 Abbirene Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on June 25, 2016 at 2:51 pm for the following offenses:
-Flight from an officer
-Off road vehicles on a public roadway prohibited
-No safety helmet
-No insurance
-Criminal Trespass
A deputy patrolling the Franklin area observed a subject on a dirt bike with no helmet riding the off road vehicle on Weber Street. The deputy initiated a traffic stop. The rider of the dirt bike accelerated fleeing off road into a sugarcane field. The deputy followed the vehicle down several dirt roads. Another deputy assisting with the traffic stop intercepted the driver of the dirt bike in a sugarcane field and detained him. The driver was identified as Delfi-Borrero. In addition to several violations, the deputy also found that Delfi-Borrero had no insurance. Delfi-Borrero was transported to the parish jail for booking. He was released on a $3,250 bond.

Deneric D. Guidry, 25, 104 Sorrel Lane, Lafayette, LA was arrested on June 25, 2016 at 3:49 pm for no insurance. A deputy investigating a single vehicle crash on US Highway 90 in Franklin found that the driver, Guidry, did not have insurance on the vehicle. Guidry was released on a summons to appear in court on September 15, 2016.
