4 names appear on the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office arrest report, which covers the latest 24-hour reporting period. Deputies say they investigated 39 complaints.

Williams C. Closson, 31, 715 Voorhies Street, Lafayette, LA was arrested on July 18, 2016 at 3:10 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of disturbing the peace by appearing in an intoxicated condition and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of failure to stop at a stop sign and operating a vehicle with a suspended license. A deputy responding to a complaint of a suspicious person at a residence in Patterson made contact with Closson and located the active warrants for his arrest. While speaking with Closson, the deputy observed that he was acting delusional and transported him to an area hospital for treatment. Following his release from the medical facility, Closson was transported to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $6,000.

Raymond A. Smith, 40, 1020 Sosthene Guilbeau Road, Breaux Bridge, LA was arrested on July 18, 2016 at 7:43 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, 4th offense, operating a vehicle without a driver's license, and careless operation. A correctional officer transported Smith from the Vermilion Parish jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Smith was later released after posting $1,500 bond.

Kade M. Soprano , 34, 9029 Hwy 182 W, Centerville, LA was arrested on July 18, 2016 at 5:47 pm for the following offenses:
- Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
- Possession of cocaine with intent to distribute
- Possession of MDMA with intent to distribute
- Possession of Schedule II (Lortab) with intent to distribute
- Possession of Schedule II (Xanax) with intent to distribute
- Possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance
- Transactions involving drug proceeds
Deputies responded to a complaint of the illegal discharge of a firearm at a residence in Centerville. While investigating the complaint, a deputy observed a male subject exit the rear of the mobile home and conceal an object beneath the residence. Deputies located the item, a small ice chest, and smelled the strong odor of marijuana coming from the container. Inside the ice chest, deputies found large bags of marijuana and a bag of cocaine. The male subject was identified as Soprano.
Patrol deputies notified detectives of the Narcotics Division who continued the investigation into illegal drug activity at the location. Detectives obtained a warrant to search the residence and found additional marijuana, MDMA pills, Lortab pills, Xanax pills, 2 handguns, and $4,935 in cash (US currency). The estimated street value of the illegal drugs is approximately $20,000. Soprano was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail is set at $250,000.

Lenis Clement Jr. , 55, 6107 Hwy 87 Charenton, LA was arrested on July 18, 2016 at 9:01 am for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Narcotics detectives assisting Criminal Investigation Division detectives with an investigation into a complaint of a possible unauthorized entry of a residence in Charenton executed a search warrant at the above listed address. Detectives located two metal pipes with burnt ends, suspected of being used to smoke crack cocaine. Clement was released on a summons to appear in court on October 17, 2016. The investigation into the original complaint is ongoing.
