Russell Richard, Jr., 49, 224 Collins Street, Baldwin, LA was arrested on September 28, 2016 at 10:01 pm on a warrant from the Baldwin Police Department for aggravated assault with a firearm. Deputies located Richard at a business on Main Street in Baldwin and transported him to the parish jail on the warrant. No bail is set.

Shearron R. Kingsley, 30, 805 Carl C. Foulcard Drive, Franklin, LA was arrested on September 28, 2016 at 10:45 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. A deputy made contact with Kingsley on Helen Street in Baldwin and located the active warrant for his arrest. Kingsley was transported to the parish jail. Bail is set at $3,197.80.

Bernard Davis Sr., 47, 213 Picket Lane, Franklin, LA was arrested on September 28, 2016 at 1:13 pm on a warrant for burglary of an inhabited dwelling. Deputies located Davis at his residence on the warrant. The warrant stems from an investigation into a complaint of a residential burglary. The deputy developed Davis as a suspect. The deputy found evidence that Davis used a hammer to break a glass door to gain entry into the home. Davis then stole several hundred dollars in cash from the victim. Davis knew the victim and had knowledge of where the victim kept the cash. Davis was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Donald R. Brown, Jr. , 32, 504 Sixth Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on September 28, 2016 at 6:14 pm for the following offenses:
- Monetary instrument abuse
- Possession of Schedule I (marijuana)
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Possession of Schedule II (methamphetamine)
- Possession of Schedule IV (tramadol)
- Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon

Michael Morris, Jr. , 17, 308 ½ Talbot Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on September 28, 2016 at 6:14 pm for monetary instrument abuse.

Jim Watson , 37, 504 Sixth Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on September 28, 2016 at 6:14 pm for the following offenses:
- Possession of Schedule IV (tramadol)
- Possession of Schedule I (marijuana)
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Possession of Schedule I (methamphetamine)
Detectives of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Section accompanied by officers of the Franklin Police Department executed a search warrant at 504 Sixth Street in Franklin. Detectives encountered Brown and Morris on the front porch of the residence and located over a dozen counterfeit $100 bills on Brown. 2 fake bills were found on Morris. Detectives also made contact with a second resident, Watson. During the search, detectives located a digital scale, marijuana, tramadol, methamphetamine, and a rifle. Evidence was collected indicating that the gun belonged to Brown who is a convicted felon. All three suspects were transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail is set.
