Ron Madison, 40, 407 Rosebud Street, Baldwin, LA was arrested on October 14, 2016 at 1:32 pm on a warrant for failure to register as a sex offender. In St. Mary Parish in 1995, Madison was convicted of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile (performing sexually immoral acts). A detective with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Sex Offender Compliance Division found that Madison failed to register as a sex offender as required by law. Madison was located at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office in Franklin and transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Melissa Evans, 47, 140 Mill Road, Patterson, LA was arrested on October 14, 2016 at 2:23 pm for theft of goods.

Bethany Crochet, 20, 140 Mill Road, Patterson, LA was arrested on October 14, 2016 at 2:23 pm for theft of goods.

A deputy was dispatched to a complaint of shoplifting at a store in Bayou Vista. The deputy made contact with store personnel and 2 suspected shoplifters. During the course of the investigation, the deputy found evidence that Evans and Crochet failed to pay for several items before attempting to exit the store. The deputy also collected evidence that Crochet concealed several items of make-up in her purse before attempting to leave the store. Evans and Crochet were released on summonses to appear in court on January 4, 2016.

Ron Bell, 32, 405 7th Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on October 15, 2016 at 7:23 am on 3 warrants for failure to appear on the charges of criminal neglect of family. With the assistance of a Franklin Police Officer, a deputy located Bell at his residence on the warrants. Bell was transported to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $8,401.46.

Jose Antonio, 43, 2602 Lake Palourde Road, Lot #2, Amelia, LA was arrested on October 15, 2016 at 7:52 pm for aggravated assault, disturbing the peace (intoxication), and criminal damage to property. A deputy was dispatched to a report of a disturbance in progress at a residence on Lake Palourde Road in Amelia. During the investigation, the deputy found evidence that Antonio threatened a male victim with a machete and used the large knife to damage the victim's residence. While speaking with Antonio, the deputy smelled the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath and person. The deputy also observed that Antonio had difficulty keeping his balance because of his intoxicated state. The deputy transported Antonio to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $3,000.

Justin Ford, 25, 155 Nini Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on October 17, 2016 at 12:41 am on a warrant from Morgan City Police for theft. A deputy responding to a complaint of a disturbance on Jupiter Street in Bayou Vista came into contact with Ford and located the active warrant for his arrest. Ford was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
