The following is a list of the people arrested by the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in the last 72 hours:

Juvenile male, 16, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on September 29, 2015 at 10:19 am for disturbing the peace, ungovernable juvenile, and simple assault. A deputy responded to a report of a student causing a disturbance at Patterson High School. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that after repeatedly disrupting class, he made threatening statements towards a school administrator. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.

Daniel Snyder, 35, 717 Appianway Street, Little Rock, Arkansas was arrested on September 29, 2015 at 12:01 pm for domestic abuse battery. A deputy responded to a report of a battery that occurred in the parking lot of a business on Highway 90 in Bayou Vista. The deputy learned from several witnesses that a male subject was seen pushing a female subject while yelling at her. With the assistance of a Berwick Police officer, the deputy located the two subjects at a nearby hotel and identified the male subject as Snyder. During the course of the investigation, the deputy determined that Snyder grabbed the female victim’s arm and forcefully pushed her while screaming at her. The deputy transported Snyder to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Neile Lorenzo, 41, 8217 Highway 182 West, Centerville, LA was arrested on September 29, 2015 at 2:11 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of direct contempt, failure to use seatbelts, no child restraint, and failure to honor written promise to appear. A deputy patrolling Centerville observed the driver of a vehicle talking on a cell phone while travelling through the school zone on Highway 317. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as Lorenzo. The deputy discovered that Lorenzo had an active warrant out for her arrest and transported to the parish jail for booking. Lorenzo was later released on a $355.00 bail.

Brittany Crouch, 29, 1503 Cross Road #2 Lot #2, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on September 29, 2015 at 4:41 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of direct contempt, operating a vehicle with an expired motor vehicle inspection, operating a vehicle without a driver’s license, no child restraint, and failure to honor written promise to appear. A deputy responding to a complaint of a disturbance at a residence on Cross Road made contact with Crouch and located the active warrant for her arrest. The deputy transported Crouch to the parish jail. Crouch was released after posting $349.50 bail.

Burkin Dupre, 29, 1503 Cross Road #2 Lot #2, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on September 29, 2015 at 4:43 pm on a warrant for domestic abuse battery. A deputy responded to a complaint of a disturbance at a residence on Cross Road made contact with Dupre and located the active warrant for his arrest. The warrant was obtained following an investigation into a report of domestic abuse. The investigating deputy learned that Dupre repeatedly hit a female victim during an argument at a residence in Bayou Vista. The deputy transported Dupre to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Courtnie Chenevert, 33, 2008 Keith Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on September 29, 2015 at 5:11 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle with a suspended license, speeding, and no seatbelt. A deputy transported Chenevert from the Assumption Parish jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the warrant. Chenevert was released after posting $5,000 bond.

Tierra A. Wilson, 29, 1022 Ciro Street, Siracusa, LA was arrested on September 29, 2015 at 5:30 pm on a warrant for failure to appear for a drug court status conference. A deputy located Wilson at the Fairview Treatment Center on the warrant and transported her to the parish jail. Bail is set at $100,000.

Wibray J. Dauntain, 21, 312 Easy Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on September 29, 2015 at 6:20 pm on 2 warrants for failure to appear for drug court status conferences. A deputy located Dauntain at the Fairview Treatment Center on the warrants. During transport to the parish jail, Dauntain began complaining of stomach pains and was brought to Franklin Foundation hospital for treatment. Following his release from the medical facility, Dauntain was transported to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $200,000.

James Gibson, Jr., 31, 102 Jones Street, Baldwin, LA was arrested on September 29, 2015 at 11:42 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of Schedule I drugs 3rd offense, resisting an officer with force or violence, battery of a police officer, possession of drug paraphernalia, and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended drivers license. Gibson, who was brought to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center by a bondsman, was found to have an active warrant for arrest during booking. No bail is set.
