10 people appear on the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office arrest report. Deputies say they investigated 95 complaints over the latest 72-hour reporting period.

Javier Rivera Santiago, 35, 618 Fourth Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on November 18, 2016 at 1:33 pm for violation of the parish pit bull ordinance. A deputy received information that a subject was bitten by a pit bull dog at a location on Highway 182 in Morgan City near Siracusa. The deputy located the animal and observed several violations of the parish ordinance governing the keeping of the pit bull breed. Santiago was identified as the owner of the animal. Following the investigation, he was released on a summons to appear in court on February 3, 2017.

Taylor LaFrance, 17, 1214 Fifth Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on November 18, 2016 at 2:14 pm for disturbing the peace (fighting). A deputy responded to a report of a fight at Patterson High School. The deputy collected evidence that LaFrance swung her ID badge and repeatedly yelled at another student causing a disturbance at the school. LaFrance was transported to the parish jail for booking. She was released on a summons to appear in court on February 3, 2017.

Juvenile female, 15, Morgan City, LA was arrested on November 18, 2016 at 3:17 pm on 10 failure to appear warrants from City of Morgan City Court. A deputy assisted the Morgan City Marshall's Office with an investigation into a runaway juvenile reported in Bossier City. A deputy located the juvenile traveling in a vehicle in Amelia and took her into custody. The juvenile was turned over to the Lafayette Office of Juvenile Justice.

Jamarius Dugar, 24, 407 Morrison Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on November 18, 2016 at 8:50 pm for resisting an officer and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. A deputy responded to a report of possible illegal drug activity at a business on Southeast Boulevard in Bayou Vista. The deputy developed Dugar as a suspect. While speaking with Dugar, the deputy observed him hiding an item in his pocket. Dugar refused to comply with the deputy's requests to empty his pockets. During Dugar's arrest, he pulled away from the deputy. Following his arrest, the deputy located 3 bags of marijuana in his pockets. Dugar was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Waldolyn Patterson, 27, 825 Dakin Street, Jefferson, LA was arrested on November 19, 2016 at 1:36 pm for the following offenses:
Speeding
No motor vehicle insurance
Switched license plate
Expired license plate
A deputy observed a vehicle traveling 77 miles per hour in a posted 60 miles per hour zone on US Highway 90 and conducted a traffic stop in Berwick. The deputy made contact with the driver, identified as Patterson, and discovered that the license plate displayed on the vehicle was not registered to the vehicle. The deputy also found that the Patterson was operating the vehicle without insurance and that the license plate registered to the vehicle was expired. Patterson was released on a summons to appear in court on February 3, 2017.

Curstone Alfred, 40, 298 Eves Street, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on November 19, 2016 at 11:41 am on a warrant for armed robbery with a firearm and criminal trespass. On November 17, 2016, a deputy responded to a report of an armed robbery that occurred at a residence in the 900 block of Highway 318 in the Four Corners area. A detective assigned to the case identified Alfred as a suspect who approached 2 male victims outside of a residence and demanded money at gunpoint. The detective obtained a warrant for Alfred's arrest. A deputy monitoring traffic on LA Highway 318 near US Highway 90 observed Alfred riding as a passenger in a vehicle. The deputy stopped the SUV and took Alfred into custody on the warrant. Alfred was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set. The investigation is ongoing.

Fredrick Johnson, Jr., 46, 225 Main Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on November 19, 2016 at 8:53 pm for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, 2 counts of hit and run driving, and reckless operation of a vehicle. A deputy responded to a report of a 2-vehicle crash on Highway 90 at Zenor Road in Patterson. Upon arrival, the deputy learned that the driver of one of the vehicles fled the scene. During a search of the area, the deputy located a vehicle that had crashed into a fence off Zenor Road. The deputy identified the driver in both crashes as Johnson and located him at a residence Natalie Lane in Patterson. While speaking with Johnson, the deputy smelled the odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath. Johnson admitted that he had consumed alcoholic beverages prior to the crashes. He later registered a 0.082g% blood alcohol concentration on a breath test. Johnson was transported to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $5,000.

Leslie Matthews, 41, 178 Friendship Alley, Amelia, LA was arrested on November 20, 2016 at 11:14 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of domestic abuse battery. A deputy responding to a medical emergency at a residence on Friendship Alley made contact with Matthews and located the active warrant for her arrest. Matthews was transported to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $6,000.

Juvenile female, 15, Baldwin, LA was arrested on November 20, 2016 at 7:18 pm for the following offenses:
Battery on a police officer
Resisting an officer with force or violence
Criminal damage to property
Resisting an officer (refusing to provide identification)
Deputies responded to a report of subjects with a gun in the area of Martin Luther King Road in Baldwin. Deputies located a crowd of juveniles on John Street. Deputies requested that the juveniles leave the area. One of the juveniles began yelling at the deputies. Despite repeated requests by deputies, the juvenile refused to leave. Deputies detained the juvenile. While doing so, the juvenile became combative and struck a deputy in the face. After being placed in a police unit, the juvenile kicked the window causing damage to the vehicle. The juvenile also refused to identify herself to deputies. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings. The investigation is ongoing.

Jarvis D. Granger, 30, 1004 Joseph Street, Siracusa, LA was arrested on November 20, 2016 at 11:37 pm for simple battery, attempted simple battery, and criminal damage to property. A deputy responded to report of a disturbance at a residence in Siracusa. During the course of the investigation, the deputy found evidence that Granger threw a blender with the intention of hitting a female victim. However, the object struck a male victim instead, breaking the victim's eyeglasses. Granger was transported to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $5,500.
