2 names appear on the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office arrest report. Deputies say they investigated 35 complaints over the last 24-hour reporting period.

Edward Campbell , 36, 512 Leo Drive, Patterson, LA was arrested on December 5, 2016 at 9:39 pm on a warrant for the following offenses:
- Possession of Schedule I (marijuana)
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance
- Possession of Schedule II (hydrocodone)
- Possession of Schedule II (Lortab)
- Possession of Schedule II (Percocet)
- Possession of Schedule IV (tramadol)
- Possession of Schedule II (Norco)
- Possession of Schedule IV (Xanax)
- Possession of Schedule IV (Provigil)
On July 25, 2016, during a months long joint investigation by the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Section and Morgan City Police Department, a search warrant was executed at 512 Leo Street in Patterson. Detectives located an assortment of pills, bags of marijuana, a handgun, and various items of drug paraphernalia in different areas of the residence. Detectives also found that the resident, Campbell, did not have a valid prescription for the pills. Continuing the investigation, detectives obtained a warrant for Campbell’s arrest in September. Narcotics detectives and members of the Morgan City Police Department located Campbell at a business on Highway 182 in Morgan City. Campbell was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Paige N. Mabe, 28, 2747 Fourth Street, Berwick, LA was arrested on December 5, 2016 at 2:33 pm for possession of Schedule I (marijuana). A deputy was dispatched to a welfare concern complaint. The deputy went to the intersection of Saturn and Uranus Roads after receiving a call requesting that a deputy check on the welfare of a subject who was sitting on the side of the road. The deputy made contact with 2 subjects, including Mabe. While speaking with her, the deputy observed signs that Mabe was possibly under the influence of drugs. He received consent to search her purse and located a burnt marijuana cigar and a small bag of marijuana. Mabe was transported to the parish jail for booking. She was later released on a $2,000 bond.
