St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Arrest Report

Bree Aucoin , 21, 1407 Middle Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on December 12, 2016 at 8:31 pm for violation of the parish loud music ordinance.

Paige C. Klein , 23, 721 David Drive, Patterson, LA was arrested on December 12, 2016 at 8:31 pm for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Narcotics detectives working a traffic stop on Southeast Boulevard heard loud music coming from a vehicle that was passing by. When the vehicle turned onto Middle Road, detectives could still hear the music after the vehicle travelled approximately 200 feet away from where detectives were standing. Detectives conducted a traffic stop on South Road and made contact with the driver, Aucoin, and a passenger, Klein. Detectives smelled the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. While speaking with the occupants, Klein admitted that she had marijuana in her purse. A narcotics detective retrieved the marijuana and located a grinder in Klein’s purse. Both Aucoin and Klein were released on summonses to appear in court on March 8, 2017.

Derrick Dugar, 27, Patterson, LA was additionally charged with battery of a correctional facility employee on December 12, 2016 at 3 :19 pm. A correctional officer was escorting inmate Dugar to a dorm when Dugar pushed the deputy. Dugar remains incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
