Denares D. Fitch, 30, 3613 Thomas Drive, Gibson, LA was arrested on December 27, 2016 at 3:59 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. A correctional officer transported Fitch from the Terrebonne Parish jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the warrant. Bail is set at $4,194.

Don M. Fryou, 28, 607 Carol Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on December 27, 2016 at 4:00 pm on a warrant for probation violation. A correctional officer transported Fryou from the Terrebonne Parish jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the warrant. No bail is set.

Torrence Ballet, 18, 102 East Long Street, Baldwin, LA was arrested on December 28, 2016 at 12:52 am for possession of marijuana. A deputy stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on Bollard Street in Baldwin. While speaking with the occupants, the deputy smelled marijuana and observed loose marijuana inside the vehicle. During the subsequent investigation, the deputy located a bag of marijuana in the vehicle and found that the substance belonged to a passenger who was identified as Ballet. Ballet was released on a summons to appear in court on March 8, 2017.
