13 names appear on the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office arrest report. Deputies say they investigated 37 complaints over the last 24-hour reporting period.

Jody Foster, 51, 308 Carol Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on February 1, 2017 at 9:45 am on a warrant for illegal use of a weapon and negligent injuring.

Teraza Foster, 48, 308 Carol Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on February 1, 2017 at 9:45 am on a warrant for disturbing the peace (fighting) and simple battery.

Kara Foster, 111 Guzzetta Drive, Berwick, LA was arrested on February 1, 2017 at 6:56 pm on a warrant for disturbing the peace (fighting) and simple battery. Foster was also charged on a warrant for expired motor vehicle inspection and operating a vehicle without a driver's license on person.

On January 20, 2017, deputies responded to a report of a disturbance at 308 Carol Road in Bayou Vista. During the subsequent investigation, a detective collected evidence that T. Foster and K. Foster engaged in an argument that escalated into a physical altercation outside of the residence between 3 other suspects, Nicole Tabor, Korianne Parker, and Jaclyn Fields. The detective also found evidence that Tabor and Parker exchanged words via Facebook about fighting. During the fight, a male suspect, John Buck, intervened. Another male suspect, J. Foster, then retrieved a gun and fired the weapon at Buck striking him in the leg. Through investigation, the detective found evidence that J. Foster fired the weapon in a reckless manner. Warrants were issued. J. Foster and T. Foster were located at their residence on the warrants and transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. K. Foster turned herself in at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center after learning of the warrant for her arrest. J. Foster was released on a $5,000 bond. T. Foster was released on a $700 bond. Cathy Duval, 54, 167 Burchfield Lane, Berwick, LA was arrested on February 1, 2017 at 11:01 am for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. A deputy went to a residence on Guzzetta Drive in Berwick to serve an arrest warrant in an unrelated case and encountered Duval. While speaking with her, the deputy smelled the strong odor of marijuana coming from the residence and received consent to search. The deputy located a marijuana cigarette in Duval's purse and a grinder and rolling papers in a room of the residence. Duval was released on a summons to appear in court on May 10, 2017.

Lakesha Colar-Navy, 36, 110 Ninth Street, Baldwin, LA was arrested on February 1, 2017 at 1:47 pm on a Louisiana Department of Justice warrant for principal to filing or maintaining false public records and principal to illegal transmission of monetary funds. Navy turned herself in at the St. Mary parish Sheriff's Office in Franklin after learning of the warrant for her arrest. Navy was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail is set.

Doneyda G. Canizales, 34, 112 Pluto Street, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on February 1, 2017 at 3:16 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle without lawful presence in the Unites States of America, hit and run driving, and ignoring a stop sign. A deputy came into contact with Canizales while responding to an unrelated complaint on Pluto Street. The deputy located the active warrant for Canizales and transported her to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. Canizales was released on a $5,000 bond.

Glenda Dinger, 43, 11804 Old Jeanerette Road, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on February 1, 2017 at 7:48 pm for simple battery. A deputy responding to a report of a disturbance at a residence in Patterson stopped a vehicle that was leaving the location. The deputy made contact with Dinger and detained her. The deputy then found evidence that Dinger went to the residence confronted a female subject, grabbed her, and pulled her hair. Dinger was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Dinger was released on a $2,500 bond.

Kari Warden, 31, 517 Railroad Avenue, Morgan City, LA was arrested on February 1, 2017 at 9:59 pm on 2 warrants for theft of goods. The warrants were issued as the result of 2 shoplifting investigations in January and February at stores in Amelia and Bayou Vista. Deputies collected evidence that Warden exited both stores with items that she did pay for. A deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in a parking lot of a business off US Highway 90 in Bayou Vista, made contact with Warden, and located the active warrants for her arrest. Warden was released on a summons to appear in court on May 10, 2017.

Sydnie W. Harrison, 20, 633 Arenz Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on February 1, 2017 at 9:59 pm for reckless operation of a vehicle, no driver's license, and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of marijuana. A deputy observed a vehicle driving recklessly in a parking lot of a business off US Highway 90 in Bayou Vista and conducted a traffic stop. The deputy spoke with the driver, Harrison, and found that she was operating the vehicle without a driver's license. The deputy also located the active warrant for her arrest. Warden was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail is set.

Spencer Elliot, 40, 8018 East Admiral Doyle Drive, New Iberia, LA was arrested on February 1, 2017 at 8:40 pm on a warrant for criminal trespass, criminal damage to property, and theft. During booking at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center, a correctional officer located the active warrant Elliot. A deputy investigating a complaint of theft found evidence that Elliot entered onto private property in the Centerville area, damaged a lock cable, stole 2 field cameras (game cameras). Elliot was released on a $3,000 bond.
Allen Escort , 52, 221 Arizona Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on February 1, 2017 at 10:20 pm for rear bicycle lamps required and resisting an officer. Narcotics detectives patrolling Morgan City observed a male subject riding a bicycle without lights on Idaho Street and stopped to speak with him. When a detective approached and identified himself as a law enforcement officer, the subject fled on the bike. The detective pursued the subject on foot and detained him. Following an investigation, Escort was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. Escort was released on a $2,750 recognizance bond.

Shelly Lacaze , 39, Arcemont Lane, Patterson, LA was arrested on February 2, 2017 at 1:14 am for the following offenses:
- Possession of methamphetamine
- Possession of Roxicodone
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Obstruction of justice

David E. Pearce , 41, 329 Highway 182, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on February 2, 2017 at 1:28 am for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Narcotics detectives conducted a traffic stop after observing a vehicle cross the fog line several times on US Highway 90 in the Patterson area. Detectives spoke with the driver, pearce, and a passenger, Lacaze. While conducting the traffic stop investigation, a detective observed Lacaze attempting to conceal an item on her person. The item, a silver container, was retrieved. Inside, detectives found a small bag of methamphetamine and a Roxicodone pill. K-9 Buddy was deployed and indicated an odor response of illegal drugs in the vehicle. Detectives conducted a search of the truck and located a scale containing methamphetamine residue belonging to Pearce. Pearce was released on a summons to appear in court on May 10, 2017. Lacaze was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. No bail is set.
