There were three arrests made by the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office over the last 72 hours - two of them were New Iberia residents and the third was from Morgan City.

Deputies also investigated 108 complaints as well.

Below is the list of the three arrests:

Lazaro Morales, 53, 7714 E Admiral Doyle Dr, New Iberia, LA was arrested on October 2, 2015 at 11:49am on an Iberia Parish warrant for sex offender failure to register address. A deputy with the warrants division located Morales at an address in Franklin and arrested him. The deputy transported Morales to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Joey Landry, 24, 520 South Evangeline Ave, New Iberia, LA was arrested on October 2, 2015 at 10:15pm for charges of simple criminal damage to property, battery on a police officer and disturbing the peace intoxicated. A deputy assigned to the Cypremort Point area responded to a disturbance on Louisa Rd. The deputy made contact with Landry and found him to be intoxicated. During the investigation, the deputy learned that Landry damaged a nearby home by ripping off a window screen and tearing it up. He also pushed the deputy in the chest as he was being detained. Landry was transported to the parish jail for booking and was later released on a $1,750 bond.

Heather Rankins, 29, 1018 Grace St, Morgan City, LA was arrested on October 3, 2015 at 10:08am for speeding and driving under suspension. A deputy patrolling the Franklin area found a vehicle to be speeding on Irish Bend Rd. The deputy initiated a traffic stop and made contact with driver, Heather Rankins. Rankins, the deputy learned, had a suspended driver’s license. Rankins was released on a summons to appear in court on January 13, 2006.
