Four arrests were made over the last 24 hours by the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office after deputies received 52 complaints:

Darian Hoskins, 36, 20017 Highway 182 West Jeanerette, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on November 5, 2015 at 9:51 am on a warrant from Chitimacha Police for indecent behavior with juveniles and on a warrant from the 16th Judicial District Court for issuing worthless checks. Hoskins came to the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Franklin after learning that authorities were looking for him. A deputy transported Hoskins to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Mandi Taylor, 39, 3435 3rd Street, Berwick, LA was arrested on November 5, 2015 at 1:49 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of no seat belt and operating a vehicle with a suspended license. A deputy investigating a separate complaint made contact with Taylor and located the active warrant for her arrest. She was released after posting a $250 bond.

Gary Davis, 29, 7527 Highway 182 East, Morgan City, LA was arrested on November 5, 2015 at 3:50 pm for driving while intoxicated. A deputy was dispatched to a complaint of a suspicious vehicle at the St. Mary Plaza on Highway 90 in Bayou Vista. While en route, the dispatcher advised the deputy of a second complaint which was a crash involving a parked vehicle. Upon arrival, the deputy located the suspect vehicle and attempted to make contact with the driver, later identified as Davis. Davis appeared to be asleep at the wheel with the vehicle still in gear. While speaking with Davis, the deputy observed that he was slurring his speech and was unaware of where he was. Davis was unable to perform a field sobriety test and later registered a 0.00g% on a breath test. Following the investigation, the deputy transported Davis to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Jalon J. Span, 21, 1606 Cherry Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on November 5, 2015 at 8:02 pm on 2 warrants for failure to appear for a drug court status conference and failure to comply with the terms and conditions of drug court. A deputy received notification from Patterson Police that Span turned himself in at their office on the warrant. A deputy transported Span from the Patterson Police Department to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center. Bail is set at $200,000.
